Unearthing Lifeworlds of Dissent
Unearthing Lifeworlds of Dissent was on view at the 2025 Lisbon Architecture Triennale. The video project shed light on how the Barroso collectivities in northern Portugal have been resisting green extractivism and how these world-sustaining relations are dismantling the energy transition’s logics of the abstraction through a renewed grammar of collective possession, governmentality and kin.

Guardar com a Terra
Tiago’s public lecture was part of the 2025 Lisbon Triennale Architecture public programme. Curated by Filipa Ramos, the programme also included Eyal Weizman, Kathryn Yusoff, Andrés Jaque, Architects for Gaza, among others contributors. The lecture unpacked how new geo-social insurgencies erupting in Northern Portugal are contesting the logics of abstraction of the so-called energy transition and its violent implications.
